MEET THE BAND

Mario Rodriguez
Involved in the music industry since he was 15 years old, Mario has traveled the world sharing his talent with audiences. His upbeat yet sophisticated style brings a classy aura to any event and his charismatic persona captures the attention of old & young alike. As president of Mario's Music Company, Mario assures his clients that their event will be well-organized, fun & elegant at the same time.

Angel Rodriguez
Ever since she was 6 years old, Angel has been actively involved in musical performance. For the past 5 years, she has added event planning and coordination to her resume. Angel's love for people & exceptional organization have helped keep many parties and receptions fun and interesting. Her vocal abilities also add an additional female dimension (along with female trumpeter, Rachel) to the band. As Event Coordinator, Vice President and wife extraordinaire, Angel is bound to bring some spice & smiles to your event!

Bryan Arnold
As an incredible, all-around musician from Michigan State University, Bryan adds his steady rhythm and funky beat to jazz standards and swing tunes alike. In addition to his fantastic drumming abilities, Bryan writes and arranges some of the tunes himself.

Rachel Phillips
Rachel was born in Queens, New York. After completing high school at the Interlochen Arts Academy, Rachel attended college at both the University of California in Los Angeles, and Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Rachel is currently a freelance jazz and classical trumpet player living in the Detroit area.

Doug Krieger
Doug is a versatile musician who enjoys playing piano, guitar & brass. He is a graduate of University of Michigan and has played regularly throughout southeast Michigan. Doug brings with him a wide-range of musical talent and well as a great sound.

Brian Romeo
Brian joins the jazz combo as a Wayne State University graduate in Jazz Studies. He has played all over southeastern Michigan with well-known groups such as the Temptations, the Temptation Review, the Reflections and the Paul Keller Orchestra. Brian's sultry saxophone style has our listeners wrapped around his little finger.

Spencer Phillips
Spencer's strong bass rhythms and arrangements give the band a tight sound and a solid foundation. Playing for all kinds of venues throughout Michigan, Spencer is an asset to the team.

Tony Buccilli
Tony also arranges many pieces and his trombone is a unique addition to the band. Tony's trombone talent has taken him all over Michigan and adds pizazz to jazz.
